Jamie was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina where she was a competitive gymnast for 8 years. Jamie coached competitive gymnastics while attending the University of South Carolina. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from USC Upstate. She and her now husband, Chris, and their two dogs Bella and Penny, moved to Lynchburg, Virginia where she attended a local pole studio and fell in love with pole fitness. A year later, she obtained a Pole Fitness Alliance Level 1 certification and began teaching at the studio in Virginia. She has since earned an ACE Group Fitness Instructor certification, as well as a SHiNE Dance Fitness™ Instructor certification. Jamie, Chris, Bella and Penny moved to Wilmington in September of 2022. When she’s not teaching pole or SHiNE Dance Fitness™, Jamie is at the gym, watching Dateline with her husband and dogs, or helping network for dog rescues.
